In 2024 Brad retired as Principal Trombonist of the Victoria Symphony in Victoria, BC Canada, a position he held for 35 years. He also performed in the past as a substitute musician with the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra, CBC Vancouver Orchestra, Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra, Palm Court Orchestra, and new music group Aventa Ensemble. Brad was a founding member of the low brass ensemble Heavy Metal, performing school concerts on euphonium and trombone.
A graduate of Northwestern University and the University of British Columbia, Brad has taught trombone at the Comox Valley Youth Music Centre, Victoria Conservatory of Music, Marrowstone Music Festival, and University of Victoria.
Brad has arranged more than 100 works for various brass ensembles that are available at www.MusicForBrass.com. He took up music composition in the summer of 2020, and is a member of the Society of Composers, Authors and Music Publishers of Canada (SOCAN).
